Most significant changes: No changes

Price change: Gas-powered LX and EX trim levels see a $200 increase, and EX-L and Touring trims go up $300 for 2021; hybrid-powered models lose the base trim level, with other trims also seeing a small price bump.

Which Should You Buy, 2020 or 2021? 2020 to avoid the small price hike.

On sale: Now

The big news for the Honda CR-V in 2020 was the addition of a hybrid model to the lineup. For 2021, Honda’s compact SUV carries over without any changes save a small price bump. The 2021 Honda CR-V starts at  $26,470 in base front-wheel-drive LX trim, or $200 more than the model-year 2020 version (all prices include destination.)

Related: Honda CR-V: Which Should You Buy, 2019 or 2020?

For 2021, the CR-V is again available in LX, EX, EX-L and Touring trims. Front-wheel drive is standard on all models; all-wheel drive is available across the lineup. Like the base model, the EX gets a $200 bump, while the EX-L and Touring trims go up $300.

The new-for-2020 hybrid model also sees no changes, but its base price sees a sharper increase because last year’s base trim level is gone. For 2021, the hybrid CR-V’s new base trim is the EX AWD model ($31,710, up $230 for 2021); the LX AWD model ($28,970 last year) is no longer available. The CR-V Hybrid’s higher trim levels, EX-L AWD and Touring AWD, see similar increases.

Elsewhere in the Honda lineup, other vehicles saw some significant changes for model-year 2021. Check them out here.

I own a 21 crv touring which I purchased brand new. Love the design and the fuel efficiency. The stereo is poor quality and constantly needs to be reset when it goes blank too often. The worst part for me is the extremely low quality seats, in particular the driver one. Super uncomfortable, squeaky. Mine has been in the shop 3 times. One of my clients sold hers over hating the driver’s seat. This is my third Honda in a row, lived all previous ones, but will switch to Toyota or Mazda next. Never another Honda!

To much engine noise, hate the push start feature, road and wind noise is horrible. Price is ridiculous. Bumpy ride , only good thing is it doesn’t use much gas. I have owned Hondas before but this crv I absolutely hate
