By far the worst vehicle I’ve ever owned

I purchased my 2016 Yukon XL new in 2016. I serviced this vehicle per the owners manual with synthetic fluids. At 8k miles, the AC failed but it was covered under warranty so I didn’t think much of it. At 50k miles, the GPS quit working. At 77k miles, the transmission failed. At 90k miles the brake vacuum pump failed while towing a boat. At 112k miles an engine DOD lifter collapsed and destroyed the cam requiring a complete engine rebuild. A required part for the rebuild called the valve lifter oil manifold was on national back order for 8 months. I eventually traded it off not running for a new QX80. At this point, I realized how truly bad it was. The QX has done 102k miles without a single failure so far. The seats are so much more comfortable than the Yukon. The interior build quality is dramatically better as well. The power and towing capabilities are so far ahead of the Yukon that GM should be embarrassed. I had no idea what I was missing out on by owning a Yukon. Comfort, quality, reliability, and convenience are all things that the Yukon can’t provide. It was my 3rd and final GM product.

Great SUV

I love the Yukon. It needs a few censors changed out but it drives so smooth. Very glad we made the choice to purchase it
