What it is: New last year, the larger, lower and wider Chrysler Pacifica minivan replaced the long-running Town & Country. Built on an all-new platform, the Pacifica's sleek styling brings in elements of the rest of the brand's lineup. It's also available in plug-in hybrid form and is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle of any kind. If the name sounds familiar, it should because Chrysler made a Pacifica crossover SUV in the 2000s.

Pacifica Hybrid
Chrysler made headlines when it introduced the Pacifica Hybrid, the industry’s first electrified minivan. Featuring a plug-in hybrid drivetrain, the minivan can travel up to 33 miles on electric power alone. The Pacifica Hybrid’s trim names now mirror the regular Pacifica’s, and a less expensive Touring Plus version is available for 2018.
