What Is the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a subcompact SUV that seats five. It’s powered by a choice of two three-cylinder engines: a 137-horsepower, turbocharged 1.2-liter or a 155-hp, turbocharged 1.3-liter. Front-wheel-drive versions have a continuously variable automatic transmission, while all-wheel-drive models get a nine-speed automatic. Competitors include the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Kona and Nissan Rogue Sport.

The Trailblazer offers 13.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind its backseat, according to Cars.com’s cargo measurements. You can see how it scored in our Car Seat Check here.

What’s New on the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

There are no significant changes this year.

What Features in the 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer Are Most Important?

Auto adaptive cruise control cuts out without warning,

Auto adaptive cruise control cuts out without warning, causing brake to initialize, putting myself, as well at danger. Also, my "sensor" will show a person on the side of the road that isn't there, also resulting in brakes initializing. I also hit the ignition button to turn off car and it will automatically start back by itself. All three are scary and makes me feel extremely uneasy and fearful.

Very nice vehicle except for the back up camera.

This vehicle has one drawback that I am aware of. The back up camera is very poor. The images are not crystal clear. It is like looking at a television screen from the 50s. I had a Blazer 2019 and my screen was great. I cannot understand why my 2023 vehicle has a poor screen. I have contacted General Motors and have gotten nowhere with them. I find this poor visual screen to be a safety issue. Had I known the back up camera and screen were so poor, I would’ve never bought the car as much as I like everything else about it. The visual on the screen is even worse at night.
