The Chevrolet Suburban is an extended-length version of the Tahoe full-size SUV, with seating for up to nine, considerably more cargo space than its sibling and a bit more space in the third row. It’s powered by a standard 355-horsepower, 5.3-liter V-8 engine that works with a 10-speed automatic transmission; a 420-hp, 6.2-liter V-8 and a 277-hp, turbo-diesel 3.0-liter inline-six are also available. The Suburban comes with rear- or four-wheel drive, and competitors include the Ford Expedition Max and GMC Yukon XL.
