What Is the 2022 Cadillac CT5?
The Cadillac CT5 is a five-seat luxury sports sedan with rear- or all-wheel drive. It comes standard with a 237-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine; an optional twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 is rated at 335 hp in the Premium Luxury trim and 360 hp in the V-Series. Both engines work with a 10-speed automatic transmission. For even greater performance, there’s also a new CT5-V Blackwing, which is powered by a 668-hp, supercharged 6.2-liter V-8.

The Cadillac CT5 offers a driving experience that’s relaxed and refined, with sportier trim levels delivering a higher degree of performance. While the cabin is an improvement over previous Cadillac sedans, there are some areas that still look low-grade, and the trunk is on the small side. The availability of all-wheel drive is a plus, however, as is the car’s large backseat.
