What Is the 2020 Acura MDX?

The Acura MDX is a luxury SUV that can seat up to seven in three rows and is available in regular or Sport Hybrid form. The regular MDX is powered by a 290-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that works with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The MDX Sport Hybrid has a combined 321 hp with a 3.0-liter V-6, a collection of electric motors and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The MDX can have front- or all-wheel drive, and competitors include the Buick Enclave and Infiniti QX60.

What’s New on the 2020 Acura MDX?

A new PMC Edition is hand built in the same Ohio facility that manufactures the NSX, Acura’s halo sports car. Limited to 300 copies in the U.S., the PMC Edition gets features from the Advance and A-Spec packages and is painted in striking Valencia Red Pearl.

What Features in the 2020 Acura MDX Are Most Important?

The MDX’s available all-wheel-drive system includes torque-vectoring capability to improve handling. The SUV is also packed with standard active safety features like forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.

The available A-Spec version is designed to stand out with its 20-inch alloy wheels, gloss-black and dark-chrome accents, Alcantara trim, sport pedals and a thick-rim steering wheel with shift paddles.

Should I Buy the 2020 Acura MDX?

If you’re looking for a comfortable, quiet and upscale SUV that offers a lot of standard safety features, the Acura MDX may be a good fit. However, if you have a big family and lots of stuff to carry, a larger SUV or minivan might work better.

Beautiful and Amazing car

I purchased this 2020 Advance Package Hybrid and it is an exquisite car. The ride on "Comfort" is amazingly comfortable on bumpy roads; absorbs impacts and this hybrid hugs the road like a sports car. It is truly a comfortable car for long trips. I bought the Pearl White with Expresso interior; it beautiful. The info system is a little dated but adequate. In all, worth every penny.
