Get a second opinion on service for repair
My wife took our 2010 Odyssey in for oil change and a small recall. Service writer called me and said we need rear brakes as they are in the red. Thought that was unusual as the fronts would normally go first. His price seemed too high so I checked around and found a price that was $60 less with OEM pads. The service writer said they could come down $40 but I declined. This morning I dropped it off at my regular tire service center, he just called and said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the brakes, and in fact they are at least, if not more than still 50% remaining. Seems like a poor way to get business to me and treat a 2 time new car buyer. I will have to think long and hard if I want to go back there.

Excellent Customer Service!
I was in transit from my home in Ohio to a conference in Georgia when the check emissions light came on and the vehicle started to jerk. Having a Odyssey, I did a quick google search to find the closest Honda dealership and found Don Jacobs was about 15 miles away. A call to the dealership was awesome by a gentleman named Cameron. He informed me that while they were extremely busy, he understand the situation I was in and assured he would help if I came in. After about an hour and half(and four spark plugs) later, I was on my way. The understanding and compassion of Cameron was greatly appreciated as I could not afford a delay. Excellent customer service!

I William E Johnson take the time and opportunity to commend my favorite customer service advisor Cord Hobgood whom without doubt goes above and beyond to assure any customer is given the greatest service on their automobile. Whenever my Honda is due a service I personally call Cord's cell to make any appointment for any service required.. My recent purchase.
I recently bought a vehicle from this dealer sight unseen, yes sight unseen. I saw a particular vehicle they were advertising on a website and I called to speak to a sales rep. I was connected to a gentleman, Kenny Cross who was most honest about the vehicle I was purchasing. Just to give you a perspective, I live in New Jersey and car sales people and their finance department are the least trusted people in the state, next to politicians. There was one particular line that Mr. Cross told me that I knew I would be buying my vehicle from him. Through out my experience, Mr. Cross went out of his way to accommodate me. I can recall one incident when he was off from work but called into his office to have someone call me with the information I needed. If you looking to buy a vehicle, Don Jacobs is the way to go and ask for Kenny Cross, you'll see what I mean. Selena Neal is the Finance manager and she was wonderful as well. It was very refreshing to have all of her promises kept and on time. She handled my paperwork expeditiously and was honest and sincere, not use to that in New Jersey. Thank you Mrs. Neal.

Cincinnati Buyer
Tom Ahl's dealership lives up to the family name. We found the car and color which was the only 1 in 100 mile radius of Cincinnati. We called and spoke to Bill Cook who treated us like a family member from the initial phone call. When we arrived Bill was tied up for a few minutes and 5-6 staff members must have said hello and asked if they could assist us. This made us feel like they pay attention to someone new at their facility. Bill arrived and brought us to the car. He walked around the car with us and pointed out a couple of minor items which were no big deal. We took the car for a ride and went to lunch. Upon our arrival we met with finance who was also a true professional, NOT PUSHY, and just a great guy. It felt like I was having a conversation with my brother. Just about the time we were ready to leave, Mr. Ahl himself came over to thank us for our business. I've purchased cars for over 40 years and can tell you I have NEVER, had a GM let alone the owner say thank you for your business. In closing, we traveled 2 hours to look at this vehicle and it was exactly as described, pristine condition. We love the vehicle (Honda Odyssey Elite), and couldn't be happier with our experience. Don't waste your time with Honda dealers in the Cincinnati area, you're nothing more than a monthly sales goal. Take the time to look at Tom Ahl's inventory and make they trip, you won't be sorry you did and say hello to Bill for us.

Great Car Dealership
Don Jacobs is one of the best dealerships in Lexington and I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a vehicle to start their search there. The experience I had was one that wasn't riddled with greedy salesmen looking to meet a quota or sell you a bad car at a bad price but a dealership where the sales people (or at least the one I was lucky enough to have) are looking to make an honest living doing an honest work and do NOT want to screw you over. I feel like I got a great deal on a great car and wasn't pressured into it in any way. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car while not wanting to deal with greedy salespeople trying to force a sale on you. All they are interested in is selling you a car that YOU want not one that they want you to buy.

Don Jacobs BMW horrible customer service
Worst experience I've had buying a car. Don't buy here. All of the car salesmen think they are above you talk down to you and don't follow through with said deal discussed. Once financed they were completely rude. Don't buy here. You will be treated like crap. Worst customer service I've ever had. Never trust a car salesman.

Honda Civic service
I just had another great service visit with Don Jacobs Honda and I attribute it to Adam Ferguson. I brought the car into service with an undiagnosed noise. Adam recognized me and called me by name. As the car stopped making the noise prior to my arrival, he was able to listen to the recording on my phone, quickly figured out it was a brake issue, and checked me in. Within 30 minutes, he was out to talk to me about options, answering questions and educating me on Honda brakes. He is honest, thorough, and friendly. I've not been satisfied with Honda Service in past visits (prior to Adam) because my husband and I didn't always feel like we were being treated fairly...honestly. The service departement has improved with Adam's presence, professionalism, and customer care. Thank you, Adam! Thank you, Honda, for realizing the value of these great employees and value they bring to your customers.
