Sold a truck I came 3.

Sold a truck I came 3.5 hrs to get at 9:20 am on a Saturday. I was only 7. Miles away when I get a text telling me it sold when they knew I was coming down that morning. Left at 5:45 am to get there early, made it by 9:25 am. They opened at 9am and sold it out from under me in 20 minutes, never checked to see if I was on the way. Was told I was offered a refundable deposit to hold the truck, lie. The first time we talked 3 days earlier I was asked to put a deposit down, nothing about refundable. Two days later after requesting photos of the bed that were not in the listing, it was pretty messed up, we negotiated a price on Friday and I said I would be there Saturday AM. What a bunch of huckleberries, about what I’ve come to expect from any one or anything to do with Arkansas.

I left a message at the number you called from. To add insult to injury, I contracted COVID during the trip. It was the only time I left the house in a three day window, obviously not the dealerships fault, but does make me even madder about how I was treated.

Be very cautious if looking to purchase a vehicle from Chevrolet of Fayetteville. I am in Texas (Houston area) and found a certified pre owned Camaro ZL1 online and worked with Chris and Aaron on this vehicle. We had multiple calls to discuss the vehicle, any imperfections, causes for concern etc. They assured me this car way immaculate which is why it was certified. I took them for their word, we agreed to a price and I put down a deposit. Then my wife and I both took a couple days off of work to make the 8.5 hr drive to do the paperwork and come home with the vehicle. We get there and this is where everything goes sideways. The car is in very poor shape (not like the pictures received or description given) and I will only mention a few of the many damaged, inoperable findings. Main thing is rust under the seats and what looked to be water damage on parts of the interior. Anyone knows rust in these areas means some type of water damager. Missing/damaged pieces on the convertible top which they told me the certified warranty wouldn’t cover. Not to mention it took 8 guys to figure out how to even operate it. Damage to other internal and external components as if the car was previously taken apart and not put back together very well. Two front wheels look like they went through a cheese grater. Front spoiler damage. What looked to be hot glue on the rear window shade for whatever reason. The list went on. My wife and I were bummed and they seemed to act as if they were very sorry, refunded my deposit and sent us on our 8.5 hr trip back. They told me Chris would reach out because he actually wasn’t there the day we got there. I called Chris and never got a return call. They simply don’t care and to prove it, the car went back up for sale on their website the very next day, to see if they could find a sucker to buy it. Don’t fall for their antics!!!
