Great transaction
Great-It didn't take forever to negotiate a price-in other words, I pretty much accepted to first offer, because it was very fair! Non of the usual back and forth that we are all used to. In and out with a new car in about 2 1/2 hours. I had already pretty much decided on a dealer out of town based on a great internet offer, didn't think that they would touch it-they came in with the same price! Very Happy

Best experience ever!
From the minute we arrived we were treated like the best and with all the respect possible. Every thing explained in detail and shown all the things our new car had on it. The salesman and the finance guy were extremely knowledgeable and professional. I can’t see why we would buy from any other place after our experience here. Come here first before you try any other place.

Best dealership experience ever!
Tim, our sales guy was friendly, funny and did everything he could to make sure that walked out with a car we loved. And we did! The entire experience was completely different then what we have had in the past with other dealers. We walked in planning to buy a used Honda, and walked out with a brand new one for the same price! Everyone was amazing!

Very bad experience and very stressful
Sold me a $9000 piece of junk. Transmission started clunking after 2 days. After researching these, the transmissions ALL have issues around 100,000 miles. After a month of being told it was normal, it went out completely. They told me they were having a new transmission put in, which they were not obligated to do (I will give them that much), so I thought we were looking good. Found out they put a salvage transmission from LKQ with 117,000 miles on it, after knowing these original transmissions have an internal issue. Car was never the same and this is NOT what I agreed to purchase. When I said it was unfair and that I wanted a reliable car with a GOOD HISTORY....they offered me $5500 on my $8700 investment and my payoff was still $6000. Not even my payoff. They finally offered $6000 and acted like they did me a favor, and said they wholesaled my truck I traded in and didn't get anything for it as if MINE was junk. Every time I found a vehicle I liked, they had SOME reason why they couldn't trade me....but they could get me into a stripped, base model compact sedan. After a 3 month nightmare of bouncing around loaner cars and wondering when I'd be stranded next, I found a dealership that felt bad for my situation and sold me a truck! All in all....I lost the $2800 I put down on that piece of junk and another dealer stepped in to earn my business and future purchases. I have this whole 3 month experience detailed and documented for future reference. It was an absolutely stressfilled nightmare. I have a big family in Nevada and my Grandmother passed away in the middle of all of this and didn't even have my own car to drive to see her before she died. Roper should have MADE something happen for me...and they did not. My family is mad, my neighbors are mad, and my friends and coworkers are mad for me and would joke about what vehicle I'd show up in next week. Roper Honda didn't just affect me on this. All Roper Honda could say was "They're in the business to sell cars." and act like I should feel grateful they did what they did and try to twist this thing somehow into their favor. Id really just like to have my money back...or I suppose there is no record of me being there. RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY: Of course you cannot agree with me. You have your money and the deal is done. Any typical salesman that finishes a deal will not admit to selling a lemon. I gave almost $9000 when the issue was noted, you put in a salvaged transmission that did not operate to standards. I was in and out of your shop longer than I had the car. I wanted my full $8700 reinvested into a reliable vehicle and you offered me $5500! THAT IS THE CATCH. That is where I lost my investment and you guys got paid either way. I was swindled.

We are sorry to see this review. Unfortunately, we cannot agree with several points made in this post. Once we understood there was an issue, we purchased a quality transmission that came with a warranty and repaired your vehicle at no cost to you. We also provided you with alternate transportation while the repair was being finalized. There was a discussion about the option of replacing your vehicle, but we were unable to meet the specifics necessary to complete another purchase. We are truly sorry that you were not satisfied with the result of our attempt to resolve the issue. That is not the result we want for the customers of this dealership.

First Honda
I transitioned from a compact car to CRV. I love our crv. We hunted and went to several dealerships in the 4 state area and by far Ropers was the best. I never felt like we was pushed into something that wouldn't work for us. Thankful for a great process. David Humphrey Jr wasnt pushy, over bearing or pressuring us. He took care of us every step of the way. He is an amazing guy and really works hard to make sure everyone is happy. David needs to he replicated as he is a great guy.
