Excellent experience working with Valentino, he made the

Excellent experience working with Valentino, he made the process of buying a vehicle very easy. We did the entire transaction over the phone and all we had to do is show up at dealership and drive off with the new vehicle.

This is my first experience with both Valentino and Avondale Toyota. I live in Ahwatukee and this dealership isn't geographically beneficial to me. Well, I never stepped foot in the dealership. Not only was all the paperwork expertly and efficiently completed without me sitting there for 4 hours, Valentino delivered the vehicle, gave me an introduction to the technologies, helped me move my personal items with my trade in, then took the trade in, all within an hour and in the heat here in Phoenix at the end of June. Valentino is very accommodating and super easy to deal with. Valentino will go above and beyond to ensure that you have the best experience. This is and was the best car buying experience I have ever been a part of. I will be returning to both Valentino and Avondale Toyota, which is the most significant endorsement I can give.

My initial experience with the dealership was very poor

My initial experience with the dealership was very poor however, they followed up and apologized if not addressing all my problems. After purchasing a vehicle, I noticed some badging missing and decided to do some further research. Although, the Carfax the dealer provided indicated the vehicle had not been in any accidents. After more calls and research I find out there had been glass replaced, and the vehicle had been repainted without the badging replaced. So, now I’ve got a “certified pre owned” vehicle with poor bodywork and paint repair and a shady history. This dealership was shady and hard to deal with from the beginning. The ONLY reason I bought from them was because I flew out to buy a hard to find Tundra. The salesman I initially spoke to was not available. The deal was sloppy from the beginning. The manager who followed up on my initial complaint was unconcerned and uninterested in my issues with this dealer. I doubt I will buy another Toyota but especially will only deal with private parties. I feel like I got ripped-off and they don’t care because it’s all about volume sales. Would avoid!

I purchased the vehicle 02/2024. The vehicle was sold as Certified Pre-Owned, yet was in the body shop and painted on 02/13/24. This review and website will do little, if any to stop this dealship’s dishonest and misleading practices-however, if it helps one buyer I’m fine with that. I trusted these guys, my mistake. They lied, their mistake.

oil change appointment at 9:30, got in at 9:08. at 11:40 am , sorry for delay shouldn't take much longer. I ask my service advisor @10, 10:30, 11, & 11:30, was told the same thing. NICE PEOPLE, BUT VERY IMCOMPETENT TO SCHEDULE & DO A OIL CHANGE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

This dealership does not care for their customers they're

This dealership does not care for their customers they're willing to give you a bad deal just to sell a truck I do not recommend going here. Don't even service your vehicles here you will get screwed up in some sort of way by these people. They sold me a bad truck and I ended up having to go back to get a different truck and they were very difficult with me about it, they paired me with a greenhorn salesman named Alberto. Then the salesman Alberto decides to call me up a week after I buy the truck saying I owe another thousand dollars because they messed up their paperwork.

No I was lied to by your sales person. Somehow you guys entered in the wrong VIN number, the completely wrong truck on trade in. It should have been an exchange which is what your salesman Jose told me, which was a lie. Then you call me up a week later having me reverify everything because you made a mistake and now I'm financially paying for it. It's pretty stressful, I've never spent so much time at a dealership to deal with this issue. Which never got solved!

Of course you didn't know about that. Why would your salesman tell you about that. That extra $1,000 should've come out of Alberto's pocket, not mine. It is his mistake. When I told Alberto that I don't want to pay and shouldn't have to pay that extra money, he pulled out lawyer talk. Truly awful customer service! Nearly doubled my negative equity from 6k to 11k. I drove around the bad truck for only two days, seems to me that avondale toyota charged me 6k to have a truck for two days!

Valentine was extremely helpful, friendly, and polite

Valentine was extremely helpful, friendly, and polite while we were figuring things out for the vehicle trade in and sale. Not a single time did I feel like I was being pressured or coerced into making a decision that was against my best interest, and for that I am extremely appreciative. He made the experience the single best sales experience I've ever had.

Flew from California to purchase a Tundra.

Flew from California to purchase a Tundra. Five days later, they told me that my check had a mistake and I needed to wire the money. This ended up being a two day process where they never verified that they received my funds. Then salesman Joshua tells me he forgot to give me all the keys and he will hold them for me to come pick up after I told him I do not live in the area. I mentioned the vehicle came with no floor mats, he tells me it’s a gold certified vehicle and they come with floor mats but doesn’t address the problem. Joshua or JP was to call me up and let me know that payment was received and they failed to follow up on that as well . Joshua, Especially did not seem to care about follow up or customer satisfaction and was very unhelpful. Typical used car salesman. They only cared about the sale, not about the mistakes they made or following up.
