Very disappointing experience with this dealership.
Very disappointing experience with this dealership. Attempted to purchase a vehicle from Scranton Dodge and for a few reasons that I expressed in length in a Google review, the experience was not a good one. In a response to my review, John Epp asked me to contact him directly to go over the experience with him. For over a week I attempted to contact John Epp and at no point in time did he take the time to contact me back directly. In fact, the email address that he asked me to contact him at does not even work. So the "contact me, I care" response I was given on Google was nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Sadly a sentiment that seems to resonate with the higher ups at this dealership towards their customers. Since his email provided did not work, I reached out not only through this website, but 2 other websites as well. And I know my message was transferred to John Epp because an employee at the dealership informed me they were going to give John the message when he arrived at the dealership. When I purchase or attempt to purchase a vehicle from any dealership, I expect to be treated professionally and in return I am the same way. Sadly, with this dealership, professionalism is not a priority. When John responded to a review showing interest in going over things with me that went wrong at the dealership, I looked at it as a higher up in the dealership wanting to listen to the issues and then try and see if there was anything at all that could have been done differently so that it can be applied in the future to help the dealership in any way possible. To be ignored after attempting to help the dealership by responding promptly to them is an insult. And insulting those that are wanting to do business with you is not how you conduct proper business.

Almost 3 hours for state inspection which I was patient
Almost 3 hours for state inspection which I was patient with as they mentioned computers were down. Jeep returned after service in completely unacceptable manner. Old inspection stickers all over dash and window with new ones attempted to be placed over them. Grease all over dash, steering wheel, and door,horrible odor, and perhaps worst of all was the drivers seat laying flat back and not returned to original position. This was a truly awful service experience. Went there last year for inspection and everything was fine then.

Lots of junk fees added on to the sale of the vehicle at
Lots of junk fees added on to the sale of the vehicle at the end and not disclosed during purchase. Could add up to about $1000.00 not including tag and title charges for the State. Sales representative Bill Adams is very friendly and professional. Company policy needs adjustment. Sales person can only do so much for the customer due to company policy.

Outstanding people!
Outstanding people! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was treated like royalty while there and knew that my vehicle was in the hands of professionals. They were very thorough explaining what needed to be done and why. It is very comforting to know this team stands behind what they sell and that I wasn’t just another sale. Great job Scranton Dodge, looking forward to my next new vehicle.
