Everyone needs a Hybrid

This vehicle has the quietest ride. It's very smooth on the road and very comfortable. The gas mileage is none like I've ever experienced before. I recommend those that have never driven a hybrid to do so, and you'll be sold as we were.

Very poor mileage 38 MPG

Good in all aspects except mileage. Hyundai corporate refuses to even test the mileage. Claims they tested it twice but cannot name the dates or dealerships. I had 1 dealer test it and proved their figures were wrong. Absolutely terrible corporate customer service. It falls over 40% short of published EPA ratings.

Amazing Gas Mileage and Really Comfortable

Amazingly spacious inside and it helps keep your wallet full. Amazing Gas Mileage with my average being around 50MPG in a hilly area.

New Ioniq

LOVE IT! Incredibly economical re: gas consumption, great styling, lots of toys. I am a huge Hyundai fan...always more bang for your buck...and this vehicle does not disappoint.

Pluses and Minuses ...

Weird ... I bought this car and than had serious "buyers remorse". But after a week, I loved it - and haven't looked back. (Two months of ownership). Pluses: Very peppy, especially in sport mode. Clean interior (I have the limited). Quiet, nice road feel. And stylish ... you don't look like you're driving a potato. (Nissan Leaf ... cough, cough). Minuses: I think they worked very hard on reducing the weight of the car. (No spare tire). Various components of the interior seem "light" - but not necessarily cheap. Just "light". I am not getting 55 - 59 ... but about 50. (However it is gradually getting better. I'm on my third tank of gas). It also drives different than the Prius - it does not have regenerative breaking (which I love) but is much more "peppy". Its less efficient in the city ... but much more efficient on the highway. Overall, I prefer it to the Prius. But they are actually, very different. Overall .... very happy so far.

It should pay for itself

There are a lot of things I like about this car, starting with the fact that I get 55/ mpg and I'm still learning how to maximize the mileage. The exterior electronics make me a better driver -- the lane monitoring and automated cruise control also make me feel safer on high speed roads. The interior screen hooks directly to my iPhone so I can enjoy maps and music without any additional gear. I will own this car a long time.

Fantastic car

Comfortable, fun to drive efficient and peppy. Takes corners while hugging the road. Screen is easy to use, phone sound is perfect. Learned to use most everything quickly, user friendly. Exterior has great lines, color is crisp.

Ioniq's Got It Goin' On!

I am thrilled with my new car purchase--what an awesome automobile Hyundai has produced here! Truly, I couldn't be happier--am averaging 55-58 mpg's (exactly as stated) and what a smooth ride, sleek sporty styling, and extremely sturdy feeling vehicle (I've driven Volvo and Subaru both which I loved but I have to say this beats both for sturdiness--and there's no competition whatsoever on savings at the pump!). I love everything about my new Ioniq Limited Sedan--and best of all, I'm closer to 100% sustainability than I've ever been before--and it feels great to be taking care of our beautiful planet while meeting my transportation needs--love modeling this for my family, friends, neighbors and to THE WORLD!!! Thank you, Hyundai Motors--hats off to you for this great vehicle!!!
