Irresponsible, negligent, and not trustable.

Irresponsible, negligent, and not trustable. Can't able to claim $7,500 EV tax credit due to the dealer negligence. I bought a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV on 10/31/2024. The vehicle is qualified for ev tax credit. During purchase, I requested to apply my ev tax credit upfront. They said they couldn't do it during sales, but I have to claim it with my tax filing. When I tried to efile my taxes, IRS rejected it. The reason is the EV sale was not reported to the IRS portal. I called the dealer, they mentioned that they could not report it within the 72 hours of the time period. Later I spoke to one of their finance manager, according to him, they couldn't report the sales. He told me now there is no way to do it. It is $7,500 tax credit, and I am 100% qualified for the tax credit. Tax credit was also another reason for me to buy the EV. It feels like these dealers do not care about customers as long as they make the sale. Customers are not important to them as soon as the sales is over. They could give me tax credit upfront when I requested. They didn't do it because they will make extra commission on bank loan. During the closing, they could submit the ev sales in the IRS portal, but he didn't. Instead he passed me a paper which mentioned the ev is qualified for clean vehicle tax credit. Even though they had 72 hours to submit the sales to the IRS, they neglected it completely, which is totally irresponsible. According to IRS, it's a serious violation for the dealer. All I want them to report the ev sales to the IRS asap, so I can get the ev tax credit. If they can't do it, then they should reimburse me the tax credit because, ultimately, it is the dealer's responsibility to report the ev sale to the IRS. If anyone had the same issue with the same dealer or other dealers, please reply through the comment on what actions can be taken beside the attorney, that will be really helpful.

Best sales department I've ever been involved with. But that's about all you will get ! Worse service department I've ever tried. Sold me a vehicle. Left it there for five days. When finally just went picked it up .nothing had been done not even the oil change. Good luck. Good deal will be all you will get there

Buying my car was ok but the detailing department never

Buying my car was ok but the detailing department never put my floor mats back in my car and all of sudden they can?t find them and nobody done nothing bout it which made me mad it was like once they sold me the car they didn?t care bout nothing else

Update?.it won?t let me leave a second review PLEASE READ before getting service work done I forgot that I went here and was given pour service and treated less than a few years ago. Clearly I forgive and forget and This was their opportunity to correct a wrong I had forgotten about (my mistake) Same ol same ol I wouldn?t take my truck back there if they were the last Chevy dealer in Greensboro I?d take it to a ford dealership before terry laBonte (that?s honest) for context I have a 2015 GMC sierra denali hd 3500 (diesel) has a nice set of wheels but that?s it. Called early morning to price a simple oil change was told by lady it was $134 plus tax I advised that I needed a fuel filter also and she stated 134+ tax I ask if that had any availability to do it she said 1 pm so I dropped the truck off at 11:15 hoping if they got time they would get to it early. The guy that takes my keys I advise him that my number has changed and that it needs to be updated (twice) I ask what all was included in oil change and he told me oil filters and a once over and top off washer fluid. I advised him that I also needed a fuel filter (remember it?s a diesel) it?s now 4 pm and I see my truck has moved from where I parked it to another parking lot across the street and has just been setting there (I have GPS?s on all my vehicles) so I call and the same lady who I spoke with this morning for the 20 minutes I?m on the line can?t get anyone to tell me if my oil change is done. She tells me to call back. 30 min later I do and she?s still having trouble getting one of the two people in service. Finally someone answers and tells me ?oh the guy has been trying to reach you? I specifically told him that I had a updated number he wrote it down and stuck it to my keys infront of my face. So I know he knew it was the wrong number he was calling. On this same phone call the guy tell me with a snobbish attitude that there is a recall on my truck and that?s what?s taking so long. (First I?ve heard) so he ?walks? back where my truck is (not where my truck is reminder I have gps) and says oh the truck is on the lift the recall takes 2 hrs to fix but we don?t have the part it?ll be tomorrow!! And proceeds to hang up the phone in my face smh. I quickly get his attention and ask him when my oil change will be completed I?ll take it elsewhere for recall. Informed him my truck was sitting outside and he lied to me and said ?I literally just came from the shop it?s on the lift? I informed him that I have my trucks on gps and I?ve seen it sitting in the same place since 12:20 and it?s not almost 5pm. He stood on it was in shop 10 min later my gps alerted me that the truck was started and I checked and now the gps is showing inside their shop!!! I get there to pick up the truck frustration level at it highest I just wanna pay this $134 plus tax and get as far away from them as possible I swipe my card get my keys and walk out the door something said look at what you paid for $350!!!! I go back inside to gain clarity on what I paid for and the guy stairs at me like I?m a idiot saying it?s itemized on the second page. I left without causing a scene. To be charged for something when your not told that the price is this price is outrageously disgusting idc about the $350 it?s just money it?s the principle involved and how I was treated!!! Needless to say I?m black male with locs and to be treated this way once is considered an accident but twice the same treatment in the same facility is no accident. I hope they all lose their jobs and the doors shut down. And I wish evil on no one but this is ridiculous to think it?s ok to treat people this way more than once. As I open this review I truly had forgotten about how they treated me and clearly I had forgiven because there I was. I truly hope this review goes a long way because people like this company is what?s wrong with the world today. They think they can treat people any kind of way and it?s ok.

The dealership is dishonest and doesn’t honor deals made

The dealership is dishonest and doesn’t honor deals made by their sales people. I purchased a vehicle 2023 Land Rover from them snd had actually sent a $5000 deposit to them. Based on that I had already hired and made arrangements to ship the car to my home and actually had purchased insurance on the vehicle to meet their requirements . The next day the sales manager called me and reneged on the deal. They wanted to raise the price and also canceled the dealer warranty that was promised during the negotiations with the sales person. I would strongly suggest not trusting the dealership for any of your purchases. I lived out of state and made numerous arrangements to purchase this vehicle, only to have it killed by the Used car sales manager. They are a complete waste of time.
