Ed Martin Budget Cars

This is my first time doing business here and Steve was very helpful and patient in taking the time to help us find something that would fit our budget. He made this a very pleasant experience.

Follow up 1yr anniversary from Mason resulted in my wife and I getting a vehicle she really loves. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle we bought from Ed Martin budget sales a year ago, the wife realized that it just wasn't the best for her. We thought we were stuck with a car that she was unhappy with until it was paid off, but, Mason and Scott made it happen, she got a vehicle that she's excited to drive and own.

Mason was great ! From the time he seen I was interested through the whole buying process he made sure it was an easy experience. He was also very friendly to my kids and family which is always a big plus as well!

The salesman, Mason, was helpful with the purchase. But the dealership itself is a different story. They had my home address when I first walked in and started talking about purchasing a vehicle. I was told I could get a lower interest rate through a credit union different than the bank I was preapproved with before I came in. I asked some questions about this credit union to the workers, and ended up telling them to go ahead and see what I could get through them. After pulling my credit, I was told my address was out of the credit union’s jurisdiction. I let Scott, the finance guy, know that I wasn’t happy with them pulling my credit for financing they should have known I wouldn’t be able to use. I explained how their lack of attention to detail was going to hurt my credit score. Scott said to me “Well I didn’t know your address”. This place had my address the whole time, showing their information sharing between employees is terrible. Scott also insisted and said to my face that they only did a soft inquiry, not a hard inquiry. Which was a straight up lie. I told him I’d be keeping an eye on my credit report, and nonetheless I got a notification there was a hard inquiry on my credit score from Scott pulling my credit for the credit union that they told me I could finance through. I recommend Mason as a car salesman, but everyone else I interacted with was terrible.

Mason and the whole team is awesome. They did the impossible in the shortest amount of time. I have never seen an operation this smooth and streamlined. I highly recommend them. Don't waste your time any where else.
