Oil Change

Great price on oil change for Genesis, Kevin worked with me to take advantage of a coupon I had that I received. Sounds simple but not always haha

Great Deals great customer service

Customer service is the best here at Escondido Hyundai the deals are epic I wouldn't buy a used/new car anywhere else. In addition the parts department was able to service me rapidly with superior customer care and service.

Consultants not salesman

My name is John Perrillo and I am commercial real estate agent in the local area. I came into Escondido Hyundai to explore purchase options, but to more importantly understand my current lease. I refer to this associates at this dealership as consultants and not salesman, because that's what they truly are. My sales consultant John Winter discussed an explained what I was actually paying for in my previous (current at the time) lease on a my 2015 Ford Escape. It was at this point where I realized I was now in the market for a car and not just exploring. The reason being is that, I was extremely backwards on my car and burying myself further. My experience was as much educational as it was exciting. John outlined what scenarios and cars would best match current and long term financial and automotive goals/needs. After test driving several cars, I thought I had made my decision on the Genesis 5.0 or Inititini Q70 (ordered for me). Any salesman would of wrote up the deal and had me on my way. But John was my advisor/consultant and not a salesman. Therefore, we worked through the numbers and after Him having me re test drive the lower priced(faster) genesis coupe 3.8. He expressed the value of not over leveraging myself and I came to the correct decision of purchasing the Genesis coupe. I could not be more to the excited on my new "head turner" of a car; but more importantly, I couldn't be more pleased with John Winschester and the Escondido Hyundai as a whole. They not only got me into my dream car. But they made sure it was financially the right decision, not just the car I wanted. It's a great feeling, knowing, That there is still a dealership whose main priority is making their clients dream come true, not just maximizing their auto manufacturers bottomline! I will be a returning customer for as long as Myself, family and/or friends are driving a car.

Good Sales Team

On our way up the dealership door a young saleman by the name of Omar greeted us and answered our request to sit in a new Sonata. He invited us to take it for a test drive, which we did. Omar was joined by another salesman, John Winchester and they worked hard with us to produce a price quote that met our needs.

Disappointed

This was my first visit and service on my new vehicle that I purchased from this dealership. Since I purchased my vehicle in May 2016, the dealership has changed ownership and would not honor coupons that were emailed to me for service because of new ownership. Very disappointed. The service advisor was not very welcoming and or friendly. He did not let me know there was a customer lounge as it was my first time here but I heard him tell customer after me so I then figured out there was somewhere former to go while I waited the estimate hour of service. He did not ask me if I wanted a tire rotation he just automatically put it in my estimate. My miles were only 5240 and in the manual it recommends tire rotation at 7500 miles. I feel like I was being taken advantage of as this service was not necessary and it was not asked if I wanted it. I previously owned cars from another dealership and had much better service in their service department. I would like to have my car serviced at a Hyundai dealership as it is a Hyundai vehicle, I will definitely try another Hyundai dealership and hopefully it will be a better experience.

Not all dealership's are created equal

I have been taking my car here for service for almost 2 years.When I came in to use the Coupons I was told that they were not good anymore because the dealership changed .they honored the coupons but wad told I would not get any reward points,this dealership does not participate.I never have received any emails,mailings or news about the change.and wish they would have sent me a notice about the new ownership.I like the service but it is a bit expensive without coupons and discounts.Good coffee though in waiting area.

Great Service Department

We have two Hyundai's that we get serviced here. This week we had the 2014 Sonata Hybrid 15,000 mile service. The service reps were friendly and helpful and the car was ready in less than one hour. Had a chance to talk to the Manager Steve, a nice guy. He really is concerned about the customer being happy. After the car was serviced it was washed beautifully. And I have noticed a nice increase in gas mileage. I have been going here for 10 years and will continue. Great service!

great dealer

All sails staff were easy to talk to. Tim Bies, former military ,did his best to find the car we wanted and to meet our requirement needs.The other staff members ,all former military, were also very helpful. The only problem we had was the time it took to finish the Cash purchase we were doing
