Dan was gracious & courteous from start to finish for my Venue service checkup . Very kind in caring enough advising my battery replacement, so as I wouldn’t be stranded at some point soon, Service techs kept me advised of status on my vehicle and services. Oil change, tire rotation, fluids top, And an all 21 green is great status! Thank you for taking care of me and my Venue as we safely hug the road.

Worst car buying experience ever.

Worst car buying experience ever. They gave me a car that said a 100 some point inspection. They lied. My car salesman was a complete liar and totally took me and my money. I will be warning all of my family and friends about this place that totally rips you off and does not care about you as a person. They'll do and say whatever they have to to make money off of you. Con artists at their finest.

Worst buying experience ever!

Worst buying experience ever! Sold me a truck that was advertised with 17,300 miles when I picked it up it had 17,930 miles on it. Fraudulent! Very poor detailing. It even had used pillows and blanket in the trunk! Disgusting! Paid full asking price. Wouldn't knock a dime off of the price because they had already received my money. Was told I could return the vehicle and that maybe I should purchase a brand new vehicle. What!!?? Will tell everyone never to purchase a vehicle from there.

Can’t give zero stars so here it is.

Can’t give zero stars so here it is. A completely scummy dealership that uses every tactic in the book to bilk their customers out of money. They start with the whole “Marhofer way” speech where they don’t negotiate and their sales people aren’t paid on commissions. All sounds great. And on paper, the price they were posting for the car was very good. I was buying a used Ioniq 5. There was one problem with it. The previous owner had not turned in the charging cord. Before driving out to the dealership that is an hour from me, I was assured that they would get the cord (I only knew about it because I was there a few days earlier and test drove a similar car) from the previous owner. No big deal. A huge dealership like this surely can acquire a stock cord for not that much off their bottom line when I’m buying a nearly $30k car. So I carry on with he purchase and this is when the games started. I told them I had financing from my personal credit union and what the rate was and they ensured me they could beat it. Rather than drive round trip two hours, I agreed to wait for them to get that taken care of. After three hours of waiting, being consistently reassured that they are getting some offer done, they eventually come to me with a deal that was fairly close to my credit union and I agreed let’s just do it. I believe I was quoted like 5.4% when mine could have been 4.99% with no fees or additional costs. At this point my ride and my wife had to leave to pick up my daughter from school and we’d assumed because I had been told so many times and now even agreed to a firm rate that I’d be driving home soon. So after another hour, I was past to a different finance guy and some excuse keeps coming and now the rate is 5.99 and of course the APR is closer to 6.5% and they’re like it’s only like $8/month more on the payment. Yah dude over 60 payments that’s $500 over the course of the loan. If you wouldn’t have mislead and lied to me for the past four hours I’d have been back from my bank with a check by now. Nonetheless, I plan on paying this off early so I’m not super worried about it but it’s just obnoxious to be lied and mislead for hours and at this point my ride is gone so I’m sort of in a bad position. So I accept and move on. They try to sell you a few thousand dollars worth of xx and when I told him I was not interested, I was told that he “legally” had to go through it with me. No you do not have to go through your add on garbage with me when I decline it outright. That isn’t law. That’s your company policy. So after unchecking all the garbage, he leaves on some “fabric protection” garbage for $700 that I didn’t ask for, was never mentioned, is just a scummy tactic dealerships use like “vehicle etching” and other stuff. You said the car was “as is” and the price you advertise is the price you pay. More lies. Now I could have walked away but honestly with that extra cost, the car was still priced better than what I’ve seen elsewhere. I just wish they wouldn’t use these dirtbag tactics to get more money out of their customers. Nonetheless, I push on. Now during my discussion with the finance guy on the as is/we owe page I brought up the missing charger and was assured that this being a “certified pre-owned” that it MUST come with all original equipment and that would include the charger. And when asked who to follow up with, they lead me to the sales associate I worked with. After signing, I followed up once again with my sales associate about the charger. It’s an electric car. I need to be able to charge it at home. This isn’t some sort of optional equipment. I was once again assured they would try and get it from the previous owner. When I asked what would happen if they could not, I was told they would order one and schedule a time for me to pick it up. He would follow up with me about it tomorrow. I’ve run out of words but yah they screwed me on this too. Horrible dealership. Avoid at all costs.

Hi Geoff, We're truly sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback. It’s clear that we fell short of delivering the kind of transparent, respectful, and hassle-free experience we promise every customer. While we’re glad you found the vehicle to be competitively priced, the concerns you’ve raised—especially regarding communication about financing terms and the missing charging cord—are not reflective of the standards we hold ourselves to. We’d like the opportunity to make this right and learn more about what happened. Please reach out to Chris directly at Cgates@marhofer.com, so we can review your experience and see how we can help resolve any remaining concerns. Your trust matters to us, and we’re committed to doing better.

Sold us a Certified Used Electric car with the charger on hold. Multiple staff told us that the original owner was dropping it off soon. Called/texted for weeks with similar response- I’ll check if previous owner dropped it off yet. At this point- no charger for an Electric car. Finally said that the previous owner didn’t have it and tough luck. Stopped responded to text- dealership and salesperson.
